The statutory redundancy pay cap is £643 per week from 6th April 23 (previous rate was capped at £571 per week).
Statutory redundancy pay is based on age, weekly pay, and the number of continuous years of service with the employer.
Employees are entitled to up to 52 weeks maternity leave; Ordinary Maternity Leave of 26 weeks, followed by a further period of Additional Maternity Leave of 26 weeks. These two periods combined comprise the Statutory Maternity Leave entitlement of 52 weeks in total.
