JOB TITLE: Business Sales Executive (Telesales)

REPORTING TO: Telephone Support Manager

SALARY: Basic + Commission 

LOCATION: Head Office located at Windsor House, Troon Way Business Centre, Humberstone Ln, Thurmaston, Leicester LE4 9HA (preferred location North - M1 corridor)

Department Overview

The role of the Business Sales Executive is to generate new business opportunities by telephone, and to carry out diary management for the field-based sales team. You will be calling leads created from our advice lines, data lists, incoming calls, and web leads, as well as self-generating leads for the direct market by creating sales opportunities. The department and individuals work to reach sales targets and KPIs. 

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Arrange new business appointments for the field sales team
  • Generate new prospect leads through information gathering and research
  • Take ownership and manage leads and prospects in your name via CRM
  • Work to personal and company targets and KPIs
  • Making 50 plus phone calls a day to prospects
  • Make 2 plus appointments a day for one of our field sales team
  • Ensure that diaries are updated with correct and accurate data
  • Ensure that internal systems are updated and correct with accurate data
  • Ensure that appointments are booked within the companies guidelines
  • Have a full understanding of all Quest services and the benefits we provide to our customers
  • Manage all queries in an effective and timely manner
  • Ensure that telephone calls are made and answered within the guidelines of the company
  • Have a good understanding of the services and products provided by the companies within our Group
  • To provide holiday and sickness cover for other team members
  • Any other duties that are deemed appropriate from time to time as directed by your Line Manager

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Possess strong telesales skills
  • Previous tele-appointing experience within the HR and Health & Safety industry is an advantage
  • Experience in B2B is an advantage
  • Have high level interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful and profitable business relationships
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in written communication
  • Work to targets and KPIs to achieve results
  • Be computer literate
  • Have previously used a CRM system
  • Demonstrable planning, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Possess a positive and 'can do' attitude

Salary starting plus commission and bonuses

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Will consider part time/full time

Agile working may be in place in the future
